Children of Grayshott presented their own Chistmas show in December 1955
This was not a Grayshott Stagers production, but is well worthy of a place in our archive
and we hope that those who were involved will not mind.
A variety of songs and dances, The Sleeping Princess, Alice in Wonderland,
and community carol singing made up a full and entertaining evening.
The whole enterprise was conceived, planned and executed
by Raymond Ingram (aged 13 years).
Many thanks to Jill Dexter (ne้ Baldock) for providing the archive material.
Jill appears in a number of these photos, as she played Alice in Alice in Wonderland
as well as taking part in The Sleeping Princess, and singing Spanish Main in what
the local press described as a 'gay & saucy manner'!
